What we have to offer Our house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, eat in kitchen, dining room and living room with fireplace. We have Air Conditioning, Cable TV, High Speed Internet (Wireless), Oil Heat (Hot Water System) and all the fresh air you can breathe. The house is surrounded by a stream to the west, a hill to the east, woods to the north, trees, barn and lawn to the south. We have the Ashokan Reservoir, Woodstock, New Paltz, Phoenicia, Hunter and Bellayre easily accessible for a wide variety of sports activities, sightseeing and shopping. |

Woodstock The town of Woodstock was originally an artist colony. It now offers a wide variety of arts and crafts displayed in the numerous stores and galleries from local artisans and others. Often known more for the concert that was not held there, it has adopted a following none the less. This is a quaint town great for dining, shopping, browsing and people watching. |

The Ashokan Reservoir Nestled in the heart of the Catskill Mountains this body of water is one of the numerous reservoirs supplying New York City with drinking water. The surrounding area provides fishing, rollerblading, cycling, jogging and picnicking near the fountain. The views of the mountains beyond the reservoir are spectacular with the view ever-changing due to weather and lighting conditions. |

New Paltz The town and area surrounding New Paltz has excellent views of the Schuangunk Mountains. They are known as "The Gunks" throughout the world for premier rock climbing. The Minnewaska and Mohonk parks also offer hiking, mountain biking and swimming in pristine mountain top lakes. There is also the Mohonk Mountain House, a historic mountain top resort that must be seen to be believed. A spectacular stone and wood structure nestled on the edge of a lake. |

Phoenicia Phoenicia is a quiet little town that offers a unique opportunity for tubing down the esopus creek. You can drift along the river and view the surrounding mountains. The esopus is a well known fishing stream that also offers the opportunity for kayaking. This is one of the many streams that supply the Ashokan Reservoir with water. Its flow varies with the seasons and can be very turbulent at times. |

Bellayre and Hunter Ski Resorts These two ski resorts provide excellent skiing within a reasonable distance from the city. Each mountain has snow making equipment that enable coverage during the driest of seasons, so as long as it is cold there will be snow. Hunter also offers mountain biking, fall festivals and rides to the top of the mountain during the summer months for a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. |
